I created Ovascan to help women access clear, reliable information about their bodies and get timely ultrasound support when they need it. Many women feel delayed or unheard in the system, and my aim is to help bridge that gap with accurate imaging and clear explanations.

I became a women's health sonographer because I have a genuine passion for what I do. I focus on helping women understand their results and use that information to support conversations with their doctors, guide next steps, and create clearer pathways forward, whether they are on a fertility journey or simply trying to better understand their body.
My Story

My background was originally in science, and I later completed a Master’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound while I worked in one of the largest fertility clinics in the country. For over a decade, I worked in fertility clinics, carrying out the initial assessments and diagnostic workups for women at the very start of their fertility journey. This role gave me a front-row view of how much information can be gathered early on, and how powerful that information can be when it is explained properly.
Over time, I began to notice a clear gap. Access to fertility ultrasound and basic reproductive assessment was largely limited to women who had already been referred to fertility clinics. Many women had little understanding of their cycles or reproductive health before reaching that point. I also saw that when women were given clear information about their bodies early, they often had more options. Some were able to make changes, seek targeted care, or in some cases conceive naturally after their initial assessment.
Ovascan grew from that experience. It was created to give women earlier access to high-quality ultrasound and clear explanations, so they can better understand their bodies, advocate for themselves, and make informed decisions about their next steps, whatever their fertility journey looks like.
